Following is a series of before & after photos for examples of my work along with explanations of what I had done to improve the look and feel of the property.  I’m certain you will see why most of these properties sold within two weeks of my staging after having been on the market for months on end.  (click on any picture to enlarge)

This property was unoccupied, however this over-stuffed Great Room was considered “furnished”.

Notice how the furniture placement has blocked the large beautiful windows and the view of the lovely gardens.  The dining room is also over crowded with an excessive amount of chairs, and the style of the seat cushions actually detracts from the appeal of this “Great Room”.

By rearranging the furniture, and removing a lot of unnecessary items, this Great Room is truly looking GREAT!  Notice how spacious and bright it is now that the windows aren’t obstructed as they were prior to  being staged.

This was not what the foyer of a $1.5M home should look like!  Much better after some staging!

This property also had a lovely cabana by a courtyard pool.  The only prop was a bean-bag chair on the floor with a beach pale and sun glasses.  After using some of the excess items from the Great Room it becomes a gorgeous spot for morning coffee out by the pool…

Regardless of how recent your renovations may be, a property should never be shown in this condition if you expect potential buyers to make a legitimate offer.

A minor expense for Staging makes a world of difference!  This property sold at the next Open House!

This 3rd floor condo was originally an attic that was converted into an interesting, yet very awkward, living space.  Potential buyers had a very difficult time envisioning furniture in this space and the property sat on the market for months.

This client decided to stage this unit and sell it partially furnished.  She already owned the red couch and decided what the budget would be to furnish the rest of the property.  With $800 at IKEA I was able to purchase the remaining items and convert this awkward space into a show room.  This property also sold at the next open house!
